Common questions
How do I import WeRead highlights?
Open the WeRead connection page in your QuoteKeep profile and follow the instructions to obtain your own API key in WeRead. Paste and verify it in QuoteKeep. The key stays in this device’s Keychain and is never uploaded to our server.
What happens if an import is interrupted?
Highlights already saved on your device remain available. Retry syncing when your connection returns. If the key has expired, obtain a new one and update it on your device. Do not include your key in support requests.
How do I access my highlights on a new device?
Sign in to the same QuoteKeep account to access content already backed up to the cloud. To import directly from WeRead on the new device, configure your key there again.
How do I restore a purchase?
Use the Apple Account used for the purchase and sign in to the QuoteKeep account linked to it. Choose Restore Purchases on the membership page. Contact us if access still does not appear.
How do trials and lifetime purchases work?
The monthly plan is an auto-renewable subscription. If you are eligible and a 3-day free trial is offered, confirming the Apple subscription starts the trial. It then renews at the displayed price unless canceled in advance. A lifetime purchase is charged immediately, has no auto-renewing trial, and does not cancel an existing subscription.
How do I cancel or request a refund?
Manage renewals in iPhone Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. You can request a refund through Apple’s Report a Problem page. Apple decides refund eligibility.
How do I export data or delete my account?
Use Import & Export in your profile to save JSON or Markdown. Account deletion is available in Settings. Export anything you want to keep first. Deleting a QuoteKeep account does not cancel Apple subscriptions.
